A low-cost opportunity to learn more about the popular WordPress publishing platform is available in Arkansas this month. WordPress is free and open source web-based software that many small businesses are using to create blogs and websites. WordCamp Fayetteville 2011, scheduled for July 30-31 at the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville, is a conference covering everything related to WordPress. The Saturday conference schedule is broken into three tracks, with separate sessions for bloggers, for businesses, and for developers. Sunday will offer time for informal, one-on-one discussions with Saturday’s presenters. Registration fee is $35.
