The Belford Group makes Sunday’s WordCamp a reality | Meet the Sponsors

Whew!

We’re going to have a ton of information all day Saturday at WordCamp Fayetteville. It only seems fitting that we make Sunday an “unconference” day.

The Belford Group has graciously offered to host the Guru Gallery at their offices in Fayetteville for that day. The Guru Gallery is where WordCamp participants get the chance to hang out, talk about what they’ve learned, compare notes and help each other learn more about WordPress. As a web design/software development company, The Belford Group is just the right fit for this occasion.

They are located at 2175 Stone Chapel Lane Fayetteville, AR 72704.

That’s not all. Angela Belford, co-owner of The Belford Group, is presenting two workshops during the main conference day. Angela is lending her expertise in analytics with both our Business and Blogger tracks. She’s also served on our volunteer committee and been a valuable resource in planning this conference.

Thanks to The Belford Group for being Author sponsors of WordCamp Fayetteville. They’ve been invaluable as we’ve put together this event.

A note from The Belford Group:

We’re honored to be a part of WordCamp Fayetteville as we host the Guru Gallery. Angela can’t wait to show just how interesting and useful analytics can be.

As a web development and software design company, we fully understand how important it is to have both a functional and attractive online presence. We love supporting people who want to learn more about how to make this a reality.

We welcome the WordCamp Fayetteville participants to our offices for the Guru Gallery and trust you’ll find it to be an educational and fun time!

Chaz Bizar booked for After Party event

No party is complete without tunes.

Last year, Emily Kaitz provided some great music at New Design School. It was a chill affair where we got to give away a lot of swag and relax and hang out together.

This year we are at Scarpino’s just off Dickson and DJ Chaz Bizar is throwing down the tunes for us. He’s a talented music master who is bound to keep us all entertained with his broad selection.

Paze picks up the tab | Meet the Sponsors

Don’t forget to give it up for Paze Interactive while you are sipping on an adult beverage Saturday night at the WordCamp After Party.

Not only are they sponsoring the entertainment and edibles (and drinkables) at the After Party, but they launched WordCamp Fayetteville last year by being our biggest sponsor.

They wanted to see a tech conference in Fayetteville as much as we did. The difference: They were willing to give the money to see it happen.

Paze is a tech gem in Fayetteville. Hidden in their secret arcane towers on the north end of town, they create websites, web-based apps and some tremendously awesome mobile apps for the iPhone and iPad.

Have you played Farkle? That thing is seriously addictive. Have you checked out KUAF’s mobile app? Yep, that’s Paze.

Paze President Neal Colston and Vice President Wes Booker are WordCamp’s sugar daddies, keeping the price of an awesome two-day conference crazy cheap.

Give them a head nod as you down your tipple.

Calendar listing on Arkansas Geek Central

Thanks to Arkansas Geek Central for the calendar listing. Geek gotta stay together, right?

I wasn’t even aware of this website until recently, but then when I arrived and looked at the listing it confirmed how closely woven this state is, tech-wise. I recognized several of the organizations listed and even participate in some of them.
