Tom Hapgood has been working in design since the mid-1990s after working as a newspaper and magazine photographer and page designer. While working in web design at the height of the first dot-com boom and the heady days of the early web browsers, Tom worked with clients such as Marriott, MTV, American Bankers Association, Lifetime, Nickelodeon, Water Environment Foundation and Verizon. Presently, he continues to design and code web projects (many using WordPress) and is an assistant professor in the Visual Design area of the University of Arkansas Art Department. He is also a writer for Design.org.
