Hey all you Blue Zoo fans!
Collin and I are extremely excited to be a sponsor for WordCamp Fayetteville for 2011.
One of our design foundations is the use of Automattic’s Open Source Content Management System (CMS) – WordPress.
Was all you heard, “Blah blah blah – WordPress?”
Simply put, it allows the user (you), to edit your own site almost like a word processor, and yet, is powerful enough to add the bells and whistles high-end websites use. Not to mention easy integration with social media, and editing tools you can use with your smartphone.
The “Open Source” refers to a program that is open to anyone to contribute to and make better. And, man, do the Zebras dance in excitement when they stumble across a clever and useful plugin (or was that Collin?)
WordCamp is a place where designers, programmers, and bloggers come together to see the coolest new widgets, learn tips and tricks from the pros, and meet other WordPress enthusiasts.
That’s not all, while we’re still thinking about giving one of the presentations (if we make it into the final selection), since we’re a sponsor, we’ll be adding some swag to the groovy give-a-way bag that organizer, Christopher Spencer, has in store for attendees this year!
