Andy Crofford started designing websites over 10 years ago and started using WordPress in 2006. He has designed and developed a couple of themes but mainly likes managing WordPress sites for others. Currently he runs Mobile Orchard<\/a>, TechKing<\/a>, and most recently the ThemeFuse<\/a> blog in addtion to his own iOS app review site AppTa.co<\/a>. She is very active in the NWA community and is raising one teenage son who is pretty tech savvy himself.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t Bret Schulte is an assistant professor of journalism at the University of Arkansas teaching reporting, writing, and multimedia storytelling. He’s used WordPress for two years, requiring students to use WordPress blogs for online publishing. Schulte and UA art professor Tom Hapgood developed the online magazine Arkansas Angle<\/a>, a student-produced multimedia news source powered by WordPress.<\/p>\n Schulte was a reporter for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, The Washington Post, and U.S. News & World Report. He now freelances for such magazines as American Journalism Review and Columbia Journalism Review. He joined the University of Arkansas in 2008.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t Cotton Rohrscheib has been active in the web development community for over a decade and been involved in a wide range of projects for clients ranging from Small Business, Non-Profit, Fortune 500, and Celebrities.\u00a0 In addition to his role as lead developer on hundreds of projects, he has also produced several startups of his own over the years, including The Protein Store, an e-commerce portal specializing in niche low-carbohydrate \/ high protein food products, a personal venture that he would sell only a few years after its conception.\u00a0 In 2002, he acquired Webworks, an established hosting provider.\u00a0 This acquisition introduced him to Web Hosting, an industry he is still very involved in today. Rohrscheib\u2019s unique experiences, as both a developer and entrepreneur, have provided him with a unique and valuable perspective on the industry.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t Eric\u2019s 25 year career in marketing, advertising, and graphic design for small businesses, a Fortune 100 company, and international organizations brings the visual aspect to Blue Zoo Creative. \u201cGraphic Design is not art, but uses art and imagery to elicit a specific response from people. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with a bachelor of science in microbiology in 1996 and bachelor of art in graphic design in 1998. During that time she spent a year abroad in Salamanca, Spain at the Universidad de Salamanca where she studied art history and graphic design with a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship. In 2000 she was accepted to the design and technology masters program at Parsons School of Design in New York, New York. She completed her studies in 2002 and a year later returned to Fayetteville, Arkansas with dreams of founding the first design school in Arkansas. By 2005 New Design Center, a center for professional development where creativity and technology intersect was established and a year later, New Design School<\/a> received it\u2019s licensure from the Arkansas State Board of Private Career Education to offer a certificate program in graphic design. In May 2009, she was appointed by the mayor to lead a creative economy citizen action group<\/a> for the city of Fayetteville with the goal of growing the creative economy.<\/p>\n Today Davis Gutierrez practices and teaches graphic design. When she is not in front of a computer she enjoys hiking, traveling and listening to live jazz.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t Tom Hapgood has been working in design since the mid-1990s after working as a newspaper and magazine photographer and page designer. While working in web design at the height of the first dot-com boom and the heady days of the early web browsers, Tom worked with clients such as Marriott, MTV, American Bankers Association, Lifetime, Nickelodeon, Water Environment Foundation and Verizon. Presently, he continues to design and code web projects (many using WordPress) and is an assistant professor in the Visual Design area of the University of Arkansas Art Department.
