WordPress Is A Global Phenomenon

Did you know that WordPress is run on more than 72 million sites around the world? With more than 53% of the market share, it is the premier content management system. From Forbes to NASA to the National Football League to Honda and even Harvard Law, WordPress has grown to be the go-to CMS for bloggers, small businesses, media outlets and even some of the largest corporations in the world.¹

WordCamps Bring This Phenomenon To You

WordCamps are informal, locally-organized, weekend-long events that provide speakers, presentations, live demonstrations, workshops, panels and interviews covering everything related to WordPress. WordCamps are low-key and designed to be affordable so that people from all walks of life can attend. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level and experience. Everyone.

WordCamp Fayetteville

More than 100 people attended WordCamp Fayetteville’s first conference in 2010. That figure doubled the following year with 200 attendees in 2011. The 2011 Camp offered three different tracks: Blogger, Business, and Developer. These tracks provided sessions on a variety of topics including Google Analytics, guest blogging, using BuddyPress, custom posts, plugin development, WordPress for nonprofits and more.

The 2012 WordCamp Fayetteville is upping its own ante. This year, we have space for 250 conference-goers and we are adding a brand-new track: WordPress 101 for Beginners. We’re all pretty psyched about that.

We are still in the process of securing our speakers and planning the schedule. The details will be released as soon as they ready. To be keep up with all of the news and announcements concerning this year’s WordCamp Fayetteville, subscribe to our blog and be one of the first to know. You’ll be glad you did.
