Who is WordCamp for?
WordCamps are attended by people ranging from blogging newbies to professional WordPress developers and consultant. They usually combine scheduled programming with unconference sessions and other activities. For more information on common WordCamp elements, read about what to expect at a WordCamp.
When is the 2012 WordCamp Fayetteville?
Saturday July 28th. There is a special evening event for attendees of the Beginner’s Track on Friday the 27th; and there are follow-up consultations on Sunday the 29th, but the main conference program is on Saturday the 28th.

The Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development on the University of Arkansas campus
What is included in the cost of the ticket?

What Should I Bring to WordCamp?
- Your laptop. This is recommended, but not required.
- Video and photography are permitted so you may bring a camera or recording device.
- You’ll want to take notes. Bring your preferred note taking device: electronic, pen and paper, intern…whatever works for you.
- Power: charging cords, power supplies, and batteries. If you’re really nice, you’ll bring an octopus so you can share outlets with your neighbors. There are never enough outlets.
- Business cards. People like them.
- The conference agenda. You will want to know which sessions are taking place when and who is doing the presenting.
- A water bottle. Camp is fun, but it’s an intense day of learning. Staying hydrating will help ward off the brain drain.
- A snack or three: nuts, granola bars, chocolate…maybe some fruit. Remember, Camp is taking place on a university campus on a weekend in the middle of the summer. Campus coffee shops and snack centers will not be open.
- Cash. You might want something from a vending machine since the campus coffee shops and snack centers will not be open.
- Layers. Some rooms can be really cold so bring something to keep you warm when the temp drops. It may be scorching outside, but it’ll be chilly at some point during the day.
- Room in your bag. There will be stuff. You will want some. You will be bummed if you don’t have space for it.
- Flash drive. You may want to share files with someone that are too large to email.
- Gum or mints. There will be coffee. There will be food. You will be whispering at close distance during presentations.
