Jamie Smith’s writing career began in print newspaper journalism and has broadened to include corporate and personal blogging, social media content writing and web copy writing. Jamie is the staff writer at The Belford Group and she continues to work as a freelance reporter for the online news publication The City Wire.
Jamie’s experience with WordPress spans about four years and includes multi-author sites, corporate blogs, personal blogs and business websites. She’s become adept in writing to capture the attention of web spiders and the reader with both her words and style of writing.
When not working, Jamie loves spending time with her growing family that now includes husband John and their two dogs and two cats. She’s an avid scrapbooker, saying that it’s the only “crafty” thing she’s ever been able to make with her hands.
This is Jamie’s third year to participate on the WordCamp Fayetteville planning committee and she loves seeing it grow every year.
