Fayapuu\u2019s clown attire fits in perfectly with this fun Carnival-themed WordCamp.<\/p>\n<p>The Wapuu is the WordPress official mascot and WordCamps, companies, and other WordPress related events are sporting them with adorable themes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI first fell in love with Wapuus at WordCamp US 2017 in Nashville, TN coming home with a bunch of collector pins. As the new lead organizer for WordCamp Fayetteville one thing I wanted to accomplish was for WCFay to make a mark in Wapuu history.\u201d \u2013 Scarlett Isbell, WordCamp Fayetteville Lead Organizer.<\/p>\n<p>Thus the idea for Fayapuu was born. Graphic Designer Rachel Korpella was able to turn this idea into a reality, bringing Fayapuu to life. He received his name as a combination his hometown of Fayetteville and his species, the Wapuu, creating a name that fits perfectly.<\/p>\n<p>The word about Fayapuu is spreading fast. You can find him on the <a href=\"https:\/\/2018.fayetteville.wordcamp.org\/badges\/\">WCFay Speaker Badge<\/a>, the WCFay 2018 t-shirt, and very soon on the official <a href=\"https:\/\/wapu.us\/wapuus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wapuu Website<\/a>.
