What is WordCamp Fayetteville?

A WordCamp is a community-based conference where people who love and use WordPress can get together for fun and learning. Find answers to questions, share your great ideas, get refreshed and inspired, and meet new people. WordCamp Fayetteville is the WordCamp based in Fayetteville, Arkansas and is the only WordCamp in Arkansas.

Where is WordCamp Fayetteville?

WordCamp Fayetteville is in Fayetteville, Arkansas which is in Northwest Arkansas. The main conference will be at the Don W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development. Park on campus at Harmon Parking Garage.

Who should attend WordCamp Fayetteville?

Anyone who uses WordPress or is considering using WordPress should be at this conference. Don’t know a thing about WordPress but want to learn? We can help. Are you a long-time, experienced user? We have something for you as well.

How much does it cost and what do I get?

Tickets for WordCamp Fayetteville are $20 per each person but free lunch and commemorative swag is only available to Early Bird tickets, which are available through June 2. This is to accommodate ordering times for both items.

We don’t know where else you will get a full day of conference sessions, a help “Jam Session,” two socials, lunch, a T-shirt and swag for that amount! Can my company be a part of the event?

Companies often send employees or other representatives to participate in WordCamp. We also have many local companies who see the value of investing in WordCamp Fayetteville as a sponsor. You can learn more about being a sponsor here.

Where do I stay?

Fayetteville has many options for lodging close to the University of Arkansas. WordCamp Fayetteville does not have a block of rooms set aside anywhere to allow our guests to choose where they want to stay and to utilize their own discount programs as applicable.

You can find information about lodging in Fayetteville and the surrounding area on the Experience Fayetteville website. You can also find information about places to eat and things to do if you feel like extending your stay a day or two.

I have special dietary needs. Will I be able to eat?

Our lunch is being catered by a local restaurant. We will have vegetarian options available but you need to indicate that when you register. The bread for the sandwiches is not gluten-free. We will have snacks available as well as tea, coffee and water. We will have snacks throughout the day but if you need a full breakfast, we recommend eating before you come. Each of the restaurants chosen for the socials will offer a variety of options to meet your dietary needs.

How much parking is available?

Parking is free and ample if you use the Harmon Parking Garage next to the Reynolds Center for Saturday. The Harmon Parking Garage has adequate parking for people with disabilities. If you require assistance from the parking garage to the facility across the street, please let us know.

What will I learn?

WordCamps are fantastic learning environments as we learn in each session from the speakers and in between sessions from each other. Check out the growing list of sessions that will be available.
